12-05-2007: Grassfire.org National Straw Poll
I just took part in a 2008 Presidential Straw Poll of grassroots
citizens. The results will be released to the national media as a
measure of which candidates are currently receiving support from
grassroots American.
It’s only 19 questions and takes just a few minutes so
please do it ASAP. They will send you an email that you can forward to
your friends.
Please

11-17-2007: After Rally report for 11-17-2007.
The Irving Pro America rally was a good event. I want to thank one
of the contributing sponsors: Bobby Lindamood Jr., owner of
JR Demolition in Irving, TX. Mr. Lindamood contacted the
Irving Police department to hire Off-Duty Irving Police officers to
assure that there will be security and safety for all those that
attended.. Thank you Mr. Lindamood for your contribution and your
support.
Please visit their website and thank them for their

11-12-2007:
Tan Parker Town
Hall meeting.
Put it in your calendar. The town hall meeting for
District 63, which cover a very large area will be in Flower Mound
at the Flower Mound Library at 3030 Broad moor lane, December 4, 2007
from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
11-11-2007: Run for Council
Since I started this site, I have been asked (or told) to run for
Lewisville City Council. To be honest, I REALLY DO NOT want to be
on the Lewisville Council. I attend the meetings and I think my
involvement as a citizen and with
CFIR is where I
can do the most good. If one of you would like to run for
Lewisville Council, then you need to decide quickly (next 45 days).
If you are a person who thinks like I do, I will donate a simple
campaign website and maintain it FREE. If you have a webmaster,
then that is even better. I will still host it for free. The person to
run against is Greg Tierney who was one that voted for the Day Labor
Site. Lathan Watts just got elected to finish a term and does not
support the Day Labor Site idea. Lathan Watts will be running
again and he needs our support. In a couple of years the other half of
the Council will be up for election. They are 3 year terms (I THINK).
I will support the person that represents me the best. Will I run for
Council? At this Time the answer is NO. I would rather support a person
that really represents conservative Americans so that I can continue
what I do. Please contact me if interested - John Gorena.

10-24-2007: DREAM Act Fails 52-44 - Hooray for Law Abiding
Americans.Anyone want to run for Senator? Do you know
anyone who is actually worthy to run for Senator? Someone who will do
what is Right? According to
www.grassfire.org,
Kay Bailey Hutchison has voted for Amnesty and I say she has definitely
proven herself to be unworthy of office. On the other side,
Senator John Cornyn voted against the Dream Act. Hooray for John Cornyn!
Voting for Amnesty like Kay Bailey Hutchison
has done is not the way to go to get my vote. I just hope that there is
a person to run who wants to secure the border and enforce the laws.

Gears is Flip Flopping. I will send an email to him and maybe I
will get an Answer. Some of you say that you heard it on the

10-14-2007: After Rally report in bulleted form.
If you need more explanation, please write. Otherwise the
following should say enough.
- The Morning Pro-American Rally was great. We had one
individual that wanted to do their own thing and the police asked me
four times to tell that person not to do it. This person did
not want to follow the
rally
rules. Having Rules makes it fun for everyone.
- The Irving Support Rally
- The numbers attending was at a fraction of what should have
showed up. We had about 200 and they had about 750.
All should have come.
- I wish the few racists in our area did not show up: Coon
Skin hat, Dora the explorer piñata, and some angry people.
About 5 people total. And what do you think the Spanish
News showed?
- All but the 5 mentioned above were very well behaved and all
had a good time that I could tell.
- The media was very fair for the most part.
- Police were great
10-12-2007: We have been trying to promote the
Pro-American Rallies and
it seemed that we were getting nowhere. This week (Late
10-08-2007) we decided to also be in Irving to support the City and
Police department. Since then, the media wants to know if we are
going to cause a problem. Only a few stations seemed to care about
the facts that we are NON-CONFRONTATIONAL, we support the RULE OF LAW we
want the LAWS ENFORCED, we are FOR LEGAL IMMIGRATION, and the only group
that keeps bringing up race is the pro-illegal-alien side. Go
figure. I want to know what race is Illegal Alien? Anyway, I
guess some exposure is better than none. I just hope that they do
not twist the issue.
10-11-2007: CFIR
is starting to get some press on the Issue.
Yesterday afternoon, we were on KLIF. Today, CNN is in Irving
doing a story to run tonight. They have interviewed Irving Councilwoman
Beth VanDyne, the Mayor and are interviewing others ar 11a.m.. CNN
wants to report live from the
CFIR meeting in
Farmers Branch at 6:45 pm (Farmers Branch community Recreation Center -
Pecan Room - 14050 Heartside Place). See the entry for
10-08-2007.
10-09-2007 - Illegal aliens are getting the free press.
Where
are the Americans? I hope that they will awaken and show up to
these rallies. The Spanish radio stations and most of the TV
stations in the DFW area are promoting the Illegal Alien protest March
scheduled for this Saturday. Can ANYONE get the TV and Radios
Stations to encourage Americans to take a stand for Law and Order?
It should be going on all week and yet the stations are quiet. We
should be out numbering the Illegal Aliens at these events! Or are we
already outnumbered?
For those of you who listen to talk
radio: Please call into the radio stations and mention the
Rallies. Get on the air when they are talking about the illegal
alien problem. Encourage everyone you know to show their support.
If it is important to you - be there. Come show your Red, White, & Blue. For God and Country.
Be a part of it.

Dream ACT which is nothing more than an Amnesty Bill is going to be

the last Amnesty bill made a difference and your efforts are needed

do not drown out the will of the American people! Your voices must be
heard loud and clear! PLEASE
CALL YOUR SENATORS NOW AND LET THEM KNOW YOU OPPOSE THE DREAM ACT! Tell
them you oppose all forms of amnesty and that when you told them in June
you opposed the Bush-Kennedy amnesty bill, YOU MEANT IT! Tell them you
are offended that some in the U.S. Senate are now trying to pass that
legislation piece by piece. The Department of

Town Hall Meeting
Michael Burgess had an open Town Hall meeting for his District (26).
There were maybe 200 there. He spoke for about 45 minutes about
several issues which included medical expenses, the war in Iraq, and the
border security and little about the illegal alien problem in our Country.
It was a really good summary of what he was doing. The floor was opened for
questions and he stayed for about 2 more hours answering them. There was
also a public statement from those who had relatives in the War and
thanked Burgess for his support. Most of the questions were
concerning the illegal alien problems. The group was really
concerned as to why the laws were not enforced.
08-29-2007: Several States pass laws to deter illegal aliens
I have had a bunch of questions on my stance on the illegal alien issue
and my arguments for my position. It is on my things to do - just
been busy. [If you cannot tell, I believe in enforcing the
law. We are all equal under the law.] Since the Feds are not
going to do anything about it, several States have passed laws to deter
illegal aliens. If Texas does not implement something soon, there
will be more illegal aliens coming to Texas. Here are a few News
stories reporting about illegal aliens leaving because that State
passed laws which will be in effect soon.

Subject: Border Patrol Agents
Johnny Sutton, the prosecutor that is responsible for jailing these guys

VOTE ON CLOTURE TOMORROW! Contact the 12 Senators who are
leaning toward the cloture motion. Go to
www.cfirdallas.com
and use the list to get the numbers of these Senators.
The solid No votes on cloture are Alexander (R-Tenn.), Allard (R-Colo.),
Baucus (D-Mont.), Byrd (D-W.Va.), Bunning (R-Ky.), Chambliss (R-Ga.), Coburn
(R-Okla.), Corker (R-Tenn.), Cornyn (R-Texas), Crapo (R-Idaho), DeMint (R-S.C.),
Dole (R-N.C.), Dorgan (D-N.D.), Enzi (R-Wyo.), Grassley (R-Iowa), Hutchison
(R-Texas), Inhofe (R-Okla.), Isakson (R-Ga.), Landrieu (D-La.), McCaskill
(D-Mo.), Pryor (D-Ark.), Roberts (R-Kan.), Rockefeller (D-W.Va.), Sanders
(I-Vt.), Sessions (R-Ala.), Shelby (R-Ala.), Smith (R-Ore.), Stabenow (D-Mich.),
Sununu (R-N.H.), Tester (D-Mont.), Thune (R-S.D.), Vitter (R-La.).
That leaves eight votes to get to 41.
The following 12 senators are leaning against the bill itself but so far are
leaning toward the cloture motion — which means, in reality, that they would
be helping pass the amnesty, because if the bill comes to a final vote, it
will pass. These are the Senators whose decisions will likely determine
whether the amnesty passes or not: Bond (R-Mo.), Bingaman (D-N.M.), Burr (R-N.C.),
Boxer (D-Calif.), Cochran (R-Miss.), Conrad (D-N.D.), Ensign (R-Nev.), Levin
(D-Mich.), Gregg (R-N.H.), Nelson (D-Neb.), Hatch (R-Utah), Webb (D-Va.).
